FAQs

  • Yes. We recommend servicing your furnace or boiler once a year—ideally in the fall—and your air conditioning system once a year in the spring. Annual maintenance keeps your equipment running efficiently, reduces breakdowns, and helps extend the life of your system.

  • Most standard 1-inch filters should be changed every 1–3 months, depending on pets, allergies, and how often your system runs. Thicker high-efficiency filters (3–5 inch) typically last 6–12 months. If you’re unsure, we can help you choose the right filter for your home.

  • If your system is more than 12–15 years old, needs frequent repairs, or your utility bills are rising, it may be more cost-effective to replace it. Our technicians can evaluate your system and recommend the best option for your home.

  • Temperature imbalances can be caused by ductwork issues, poor airflow, insulation problems, or an aging HVAC system. Upper floors are naturally hotter during the summer months-especially when the outdoor temperature rises above 85-90 degrees because of the heat from the sun builds up on the roof and radiates down into the home. We can assess the home and offer solutions such as zoning, duct improvements, or system upgrades.

  • Ductless systems are highly efficient, flexible, and great for spaces without ductwork—like additions, sunrooms, or older homes. As a Mitsubishi Preferred Diamond Contractor, we provide expert installation and service for these systems.

  • Most furnace or air conditioner installations can be completed in one day. Boiler and ductless systems may take longer depending on the complexity of the job.

  • We install a variety of reliable HVAC systems, including Bryant equipment for traditional heating and cooling and Mitsubishi products for advanced ductless solutions, and Weil-McLain boilers.
